With 280 seismic stations installed in remote places where no man had access before, the last USArray deployment is scheduled to be operational until 2019, 15 years after the first deployment in California. We are proud that Kinemetrics products such as the Q330, VIE, STS-5, Antelope implemented in the USArray and in other projects worldwide contributed and continues to contribute to significant advancements in science. The seismic data collected will provide an unprecedented understanding of the active faults in Alaska, while the 132 co-located weather stations will be of tremendous benefit to Alaska weather forecasters.
