Before joining Kinemetrics in 1996, Mauricio started his professional career as seismic network operator. This insight provided him with the vision to contribute, throughout the years, to the evolution of Kinemetrics’ Vertical Application platforms, ensuring that data is turned into actionable information so our clients can make informed decisions for business/operational continuity and ultimately achieve improved resilience to earthquakes. Mauricio was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Kinemetrics and elected as a member of the Board of Directors in 2023. Mauricio holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Earthquake Engineering, from the University of Southern California.
