Vice President of Sales

Lani Oncescu began his career as a scientific researcher with the National Institute of Earth Physics in Romania, becoming Manager of the Romanian Seismic network, later moving to the Geophysical Institute of Karlsruhe University in Germany, and then to the Swiss Seismological Service of ETH. Lani has published 20 articles, co-authored a textbook in seismology, and wrote many software packages. In 1998, Lani joined Teledyne Geotech in Dallas, where he was Vice President of Science Applications until 2013, when he joined Kinemetrics. At Kinemetrics, Lani became General Sales Manager in 2018 and recently Vice President of Sales. Lani combines deep scientific and technical knowledge with a strong business acumen. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics with focus in Seismology.
