The 57th Nordic Seismology Seminar will take place in Iceland from June 9–11, 2026. This traditional gathering brings together scientists and technicians from seismological institutes across Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland.

Alongside the Nordic hosts, colleagues from the Baltic states, Poland, and Germany have become regular participants, broadening the seminar’s international scope and enriching the exchange of expertise.

With its compact format, the seminar fosters a collegial atmosphere where participants can present research results, share updates on seismic networks, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
