Kinemetrics Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response – Update

Due to COVID-19, many of our employees are working remotely.  When calling Kinemetrics, please leave a detailed phone message which will be transcribed into an email and immediately sent to the person you are calling for a quicker response.  We have been closely following all recent COVID-19 developments across the USA and carefully following government guidelines while taking precautionary steps to do what we can to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. We have a dedicated team closely monitoring the situation, and we are planning and acting accordingly.

Essential Business
As you are likely aware, many state and local government authorities have issued an Executive “Stay at Home” order. This order applies to most businesses except for federal critical infrastructure sectors and essential business services, allowing critical infrastructure operations to remain open during this order.  As a supplier to critical infrastructure and other sectors, our locations across the US will remain open with essential, on-site staff available to fulfill your needs; We are here for you.

To reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19, we have initiated remote work policies and deployed additional telecommuting resources to allow many of our staff to work remotely; we are ready to serve you as always. We have also reorganized our production area and changed our shift scheduling to accommodate social distancing and the suspension of global and regional business travel and the cancellation of our participation in a number of events globally, with key significant Kinemetrics events, switched to virtual.

Supply Chain
Kinemetrics has well-established processes to coordinate our efforts during outbreaks like COVID-19. We continually monitor our supply chain for issues that may impact our operations, working closely with our suppliers to assess and minimize any potential effect. By continuously optimizing our supply chain, we can quickly respond to changing market dynamics, minimizing impacts to our business and disruptions to our customers. 

We continue to ship customer orders as expected and we will do our utmost to ensure your promised deliveries are accomplished in a timely manner. However, some deliveries may be delayed due to flight restrictions or other factors outside of our control. Please be Aware of Potential Fraud
Please be aware that during times of uncertainty, such as this, so called “bad actors” often attempt to fraudulently re-direct movements of money, especially electronic transfers. Please note that we will not be amending our banking and invoicing procedures, so please do not comply and contact your Kinemetrics representative or call (626) 795-2220 if you receive any such communications.
